LIMITED WARRANTY

TheLaw.com Law Dictionary & Black's Law Dictionary 2nd Ed.

Usually in referene to a manufacturer’s warranty for a product which is a written guarantee setting forth the limits of the scope of coverage and time limit for which the manufacturer guarantees that the product will operate properly. In the event of failure of the product, the limited warranty will typically limit the remedy to repair or replacement of a defective item. In almost all cases, monetary compensation is not included.
