WORK PRODUCT

TheLaw.com Law Dictionary & Black's Law Dictionary 2nd Ed.

The product of work that exists as a part of creating a final work or work of authorship. This may include notes, memos, research materials, scrap materials, etc. With regard to attorney work product, this includes a lawyers notes, memorandums, records of client interviews and other materials and work in preparation for trial are strictly confidential and not subject to being subpoenaed by opposing counsel.
