TRAUMA

In medical jurisprudence. A wound; any Injury to the body caused by e ternal violence. Traumatic. Caused by or resulting from a wound or any external injury; as, traumatic insanity, produced by an injury to or fracture of the skull with consequent pressure on the brain. Traumatism. A diseased condition of the body or any part of it caused by a wound or external injury.
