TRADEMARK

A mark that is used to distinguish the products made by a particular manufacturer to be identified with that manufacturer. A trademark may be a word, phrase, logo, symbol, color; it may also be a unique sound or smell, and is contained on a good (as opposed to a service which is a service mark.)
