Latin meaning In English practice. A writ of association of justices whereby if all in commission cannot meet at the day assigned it is allowed that two or more may proceed with the business. If there be no inference which leads to a different result words are to be understood according to their proper meaning not in a grammatical, but in a popular and ordinary, sense.
