Auto insurance laws requiring each the insurance company of each party involved in an accident to pay for medical bills and lost wages of their insured, up to a certain amount, regardless of fault. The goal of such a policy is to eliminate lawsuits in small accidents and to encourage the prompt payment of medical bills and expenses. Frequently the amounts covered by no-fault policies are insufficient to completely cover the party’s losses and which also do not compensate for pain and suffering.
