LABOR CERTIFICATION

When a foreign worker applies for a work visa or green card based upon the representation of a job offer in the U.S., additional proof may be required for the immigrant to qualify for a green card. For example, the employer must prove that there are no qualified U.S. workers available and able to perform the work and other questions are usually asked.
