JURY SELECTION

The process of selecting jurors for trial where jurors are questions by both parties and potentially by the judge in order to determine their fitness to serve on a jury and that they are free from bias. (See voir dire.) Other challenges also exist in order to promote the fairness of the selection of a jury.
