The protection for statements made during a court proceeding, which extends to the judge, the attorneys, witnesses, the parties and jurors. It is also known as the courtroom privilege and provides immunity from suit provided that the statements uttered were (i) made during the course of the judicial proceedings and (ii) relevant to the matter in inquiry.
