GAZETTE

TheLaw.com Law Dictionary & Black's Law Dictionary 2nd Ed.

The official publication of the English government, also called the “London Gazette.” It is evidence of acts of state, and of everything done by the king in his political capacity. Orders of adjudication in bankruptcy are required to be published therein; and the production of a copy of the “Gazette,” containing a copy of the order of adjudication, is evidence of the fact. Mozley A Whitley.
