Using a digital and paperless method to sign a document. Different methods exist such as entering ones name into a field and surrounded by slashes, /John Doe/ or in conjunction with the I agree button and typing one’s name. In some instances this may refer to the use of a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Electronic signatures are just as binding as written signatures.
