DIGITAL MILLENIUM COPYRIGHT ACT

Federal statute which is United States copyright law which criminalizes production and dissemination of technology, devices, or services intended to circumvent digital rights management (DRM) which control the access and distribution of copyrighted works. It criminalizes the circumvention of DRM implementation and raises the penalties for copyright infringement on the Internet.
