COURT COSTS

These are the actual costs for use of a court. These costs will include items such as the initial filing fee for a complaint, fees for service of the summons and complaint along with any other court documents, the fees to payable to a court reporter who transcribes testimony in court or at a deposition as well as the amounts that may be paid to jurors. Typically, photocopy costs for exhibits and documents are included. The losing party may be responsible for court costs.
