Boni judicis est ampliare justitiam. It is the duty of a good judge to enlarge or extend justice. 1 Burr. 304. Boni judicis est judicium sine dila tione mandare execution!. It is the duty of a good judge to cause judgment to be executed without delay. Co. Iitt 289. Boni judicis est lites dirimere, ne lis ex lite oritur, et interest reipnblicse ut sint fines litium. It is the duty of a good judge to prevent litigations, that suit may not grow out of suit, and it concerns the welfare of a state that an end be put to litigation. 4 Coke, 156; 5 Coke, 31a.
