A lawsuit that challenges the validity of a will or its terms, typically filed after the will maker dies. The most common examples of will contest include claims of undue influence by a relative or someone close, who wrongfully encouraged the maker of the will to change the will in the favor of a person or party during a state of questionable mental capacity of the maker of the will.
