A widow; as A B, relict of C D. This term is applied to the survivor of a pair of married people, whether the survivor is the husband or the wife; it means the relict of the united pair, (or of the marriage union,) not the relict of the deceased individual. Spitler v. Heeter, 42 Ohio St 101.
