A change to the work environment to assist a qualified employee who is disabled to perform their job. Federal law requires that employers accommodate employees with disabilities or have restrictions based upon religion and must offer reasonable accommodations to such employees, provided that such accommodations do not cause an undue burden on the employer. This may include scheduling employees work hours that do not conflict with a holy day or providing reasonable access for those with mobility problems.
