NON SEQUITUR

Latin: It does not follow. Non solont quid abundant vitiare serlpturas. Superfluities [things, which abound] do not usually vitiate writings Dig. 50, 17, 94. Non solum quid licet, sed quid est conveniens, est considcrandum; quia nihil quod est inconveniens est licitum. Not only what is lawful, but what is proper or convenient, is to be considered; because nothing that is inconvenient is lawful.
