A jurisdiction or court which is convenient or inconvenient. A lawsuit may be dismissed or moved from a forum that is not convenient or inappropriate, e.g. where an accident occurred in state A and the plaintiff and most defendants live in state B with the case being filed in state C, an inconvenient forum.
