A horse that has been castrated, and which is thus distinguished from the horse in his natural and unaltered condition. A “ridgling” (a half-castrated horse) is not a gelding, but a horse, within the denomination of animals in the statutes. Brisco v. State, 4 Tex. App. 219, 30 Am. Rep. 162.
